Illinois Spring Visitors

Since the dead period expires tonight, the quiet period begins tomorrow, March 1st, until April 14th. This means only in-person contact on the college campus is permissible. Illinois will have a lot of talent visiting this spring. This list will be very fluid.

At this time, I can confirm the following players are visiting Illinois: 3-star Florida EDGE Calvin Smith (Friday, March 4th), 5-star Naperville North kicker David Olano, an Adidas All-American (Friday, March 4th), 3-star Kankakee DB Jyaire Hill (Saturday, March 5th), 3-star New Jersey OL Zachary Aamland (Thursday, March 10th), and 3-star Ohio S/LB Nigel Glover (Friday, March 25th – Saturday, March 26th).

The Illinois football program held a massive recruiting day roughly two months ago, when the basketball team hosted Michigan, and some of the visitors that attended the Michigan's game are returning to Champaign this weekend. Kaden Feagin is returning to Illinois this weekend. He’s a top priority for the Illini in the junior class. Also, four-star 2023 Chicago Simeon WR Malik Elzy will also be returning to Champaign this weekend, too. Last, but not least, a new name will be visiting Illinois his first time and that is Indianapolis Cathedral four-star DL Kendrick Gilbert.
