On Thursday, Illinois is set to hold its annual spring football game. Spring games are one of the biggest recruiting events of the year and Illinois’ visitors list drives this point home. There will be a #famILLy22 reunion. Here’s a look at every future #Illini that is expected to be in attendance.

Joey Okla, Hunter Whitenack, Matt Fries, Ashton Hollins, Henry Boyer, Hank Beatty, TJ Griffin, Clayton Leonard, James Kreutz, Matthew Bailey, Trevor Burnett, Jameson Sheehan, Nico Crawford, Josh Leff, Christian Lorenzo, Sam Tsagalis, and Luc Elias.

The Illini will have an impressive array of recruits on campus to take in the game, and it goes well beyond a strong contingent of the players signed in the winter as Bielema’s first full class. Offered recruits in the 2023 confirmed with 200Columns in the last 24 hours they will be in attendance, and it includes a healthy dose of in-state prospects. Among the 2023 offered prospects set to attend is East St. Louis (Ill.) four-star offensive tackle Miles McVay and Kankakee (Ill.) three-star DB Jyaire Hill. Also planning to be there are Naperville North (Ill.) five-star kicker David Olano, Western Brown (OH) quarterback Drew Novak, and Olympia (Ill.) offensive tackle Blaine Halley. In the 2024 class, Naperville North (Ill.) four-star ATH Luke Williams is set to be on campus.
